Dunkin Donuts pizza? No thanks

February 16th, 2008 by steve · No Comments

I’ve not had Dunkin Donuts’ new personal pizza, but judging by blogger David Farkas’ take on the chain’s pie, I’ll just skip it. Knowing Farkas professionally, as well as the fact he covers the national restaurant scene for Chain Leader magazine and doesn’t want to offend potential sources, I gather he’s being kind in his assessment.

“In any case, I bit last night and ordered pepperoni pizza ($3.29) and hash browns (99 cents). Personal is the new small, I guess. The four-piece pizza, which came neatly boxed, was about the size of a saucer. The pepperoni wasn’t even sliced; it was sprinkled.”  I’ll just keep my $3.29 in my pocket, especially since it costs me about half that to make really good pizza at home.
