That’s right. Cafe Mimosa and the Eggroll Machine are reborn:

Tried to get in here Sunday night at 5:30pm. Sad to say that despite not being too busy, we couldn’t get a table for 5 after waiting 25 minutes and seeing 3 families of 4 get seated before us. Another family of 4 had a reservation, but watched one of those 3 families get seated before them.

Servers were nearly bumping into each other in the front/main room where we waited near the bar, so they appear to be well staffed. Yet they all looked exhausted.

We left and ate at Double Dragon on Goss Ave., still the best Chinese food in town by a longshot. Maybe we’ll try cafe MIMOSA’s new digs out when they get settled in and organized.

See the alley immediately to the right of the building? That is a public right of way used by residents on both Sherwood and Alta Avenues. Please don’t block the alley when you go to this restaurant. Thanks.
